This knife is a cheap stamped knife with some pretty etching on the blade and the thin sharpened area of the blade are clues that this is no contender with quality Japanese knives. I really like the small footprint which makes it an excellent choice for smaller countertops or a starter set for a bachelor or bachelorette.
