These are similar to the Baltique utensils but much cheaper. You can see the Baltique Poconos spurtle pictured next to these, its slightly longer and narrower. These are equal quality and I love all three sizes, in fact I ordered a second set I liked these so much! They are no too thick to be functional but thick enough to be very sturdy, many spurtles are way too thick in my opinion and clumsy to cook with, these are excellent. The colors havent faded at all, I use and wash them daily. Of course you cant put these in the dishwasher, no wood should ever go in the dishwasher and never leave any wood in water, just wash and dry it after use. These are beautiful and extremely functional. I got these for the largest one but find I use all three sizes equally, they are all very useful. These are really excellent, take advantage of this great price while you can, they are wonderful, would make an excellent gift, they come in a box. I love this spurtle! It is so bright and colorful. I have been using it for a few months now, flipping sandwiches, deglazing pans and it hasn't cracked or split yet. I always make sure to rinse it right away and not let food dry and cake onto it. It seems to be helping prolongue the life of the spurtle. I got the '3-Pcs Utensil Set 1' style which is predominantly dark blue with accents of wine red, emerald green, & basketball orange. They look very nice in my predominantly blue kitchen.These are surprisingly smooth, almost silky feeling & they have a nice heft to them without being heavy. They are sized well; feel good in my hand & are long enough to get all the way under a piece of bread, making it easy to flip an ooey-gooey grilled cheese sandwich or a piece of stuffed French toast without loosing the filling all over the pan. They are a bit narrow for pancakes, IMHO, but this company makes wider spatulas also, so I would just get one of those for your pancake flipping needs. I like the littlest one of this set for browning meatballs & prefer the middle one for breaking up loose sausage or hamburger for things like tacos/loosemeats/taverns/casseroles. The biggest (slotted) one I use for those sandwiches & French toast. Also good for serving up casseroles & lasagna. And huge slabs of brownies or krispie treats/scotcheroos. Well, you get the picture.These wash so easily, I barely need to apply pressure & they're clean again (make sure you're doing it by hand, though: wood + dishwasher = unhappiness & re-buying things).These make a great gift whether for someone else, or to treat yourself. These remind me of tie dye. In a house full of artists, these fit right into our kitchen & make cooking a little more colorful. They seem to be quite sturdy too.
