The magnetic display for this knife set is actually great, I havent had a single issue trying to pull a single knife off of here yet. Each knife is well balanced and cuts extremely well out of the box- the first order of business for the chefs knife was to spatch a bird and remove its back bone, which was done extremely easily. These are awesome to cut into anything! I am not kidding. Be careful when unboxing as they're very sharp. It's a good thing cause they can cut tight through those big pieces of chicken! The wooden base is very handy to keep them in sight and easy reach. It's very thick and well made. Great sturdy set of knives.
